For company VCMF (Vinci Construction Maritime et Fluvial) MPS has supplied a modular pontoon equipped with three spudlegs to carry an excavator that will be used for maintenance work on a bridge over the Rhone river, located near Roquemaure in south of France. The pontoon dimensions are 30.48 x 12.19 x 2.44m and is also used as a dive platform to support the divers that work on the bridge foundations.  The work is part of a maintenance program of the autoroute A9 and consists of (under water) cleaning and repairing / re-enforcing the bridge pilons and afterwards protecting the bottom surface by rock-placement.
