Ordered just before Christmas and last week one of our esteemed French customers Entreprise CHARIER took delivery of their new built MPS – Modular Pontoon Systems modular pontoon LE SAINT-GERMAIN.

With her dimension of 30.48 x 14.63 x 2.44 m., 4 pieces hydraulic operated stabilizing spud-legs and 4 point-mooring system LE SAINT-GERMAIN is capable of carrying a 130-tonne crane.

LE SAINT-GERMAIN is intended for use on river construction sites carried out by team Charier, in Ile-de-France.

Although hardly commissioned, her rest will be for short period of time. LE SAINT-GERMAIN first assignment is planned at the Andresy Dam, as part of a project commissioned by Voies navigables de France – UTI Boucles de la Seine.

The delivered basis configuration of LE SAINT-GERMAIN will be extended and reconfigured into larger dimensions with MPS container pontoons from MPS – Modular Pontoon Systems rental fleet. This to accommodate a 200-ton crawler crane.
