MPS – Modular Pontoon Systems recently played a key role in the BALWIN4 HDD project in Norderney, Germany. Continuing our strong relationship with one of our trusted repeat clients, we were proud to deliver customized modular solutions.
For this operation, MPS mobilized equipment from our extensive rental fleet of modular pontoons. As part of our scope, we deployed two moonpool assemblies, customizing two MPS 480 containers of each assembly with additional TEKLOCK® mounting positions to meet specific project requirements.
Each fully assembled moonpool offered a working area of 30.48 x 3.66 meters. The moonpools were floated into position during high tide, then carefully ballasted using overboard water to place it on the seabed.
