We’re proud to support the Oosterweelverbinding project in Antwerp, Belgium, in collaboration with our valued client TM COTU, with an impressive range of modular floating solutions.
To assist in the immersion and positioning of massive tunnel elements. Each measuring 160 meters long, 42 meters wide, and 10 meters high, and weighing a staggering 60.000 tons. MPS deployed various modular pontoon configurations from our extensive rental fleet.
- The high-cube 9.5ft assemblies, constructed from our MPS495 modular pontoons, serve as the foundation for the traverse assemblies (Asterix and Obelix). Designed for the heaviest applications, these assemblies provide the essential flotation capacity to support the massive tunnel elements and traverse during the immersion operation.
- The 6.5ft assemblies, constructed from our MPS465 modular pontoons, serve as mooring assemblies, outfitted with winches for the precise positioning of the immersion assembly and tunnel elements during this immersion operation.
