Arkup livable yacht – USA
“Think outside the box be creative” That is what the founders of the Arkup company for sure did. They developed together with renowned Dutch architect firm ‘Waterstudio” a luxury style home so called ‘livable yacht’ with as solid basis to build their house on an MPS modular platform.
Fully electric and solar powered, equipped with thrusters for maneuvering and four spud-legs that can be used to jack the complete ‘livable yacht’ above water in case of bad weather conditions. The modular pontoon was custom designed for this application and constructed in-house by MPS at their facilities in Aalst, the Netherlands.
As service provider, MPS is used to organise transport for her customers. For Arkup LLC we organized transport from our facility to Miami – USA.
MPS technicians assembled the platform upon arrival so that Arkup LLC could commence their house building work with this beautiful unique ‘livable yacht’ as result.
